Goal
Capture all
Objective
Capture all of your opponent's pieces, or block them so they can't move. Dark pieces move first.
Movement
1
Regular pieces move diagonally forward one space at a time, on dark squares only.
2
Jumping (capturing): If an opponent's piece is diagonally adjacent and the square behind it is empty, you must jump over it to capture it.
3
Multi-jumps: If after a jump you can make another jump with the same piece, you must continue jumping. You can capture multiple pieces in one turn.
4
Mandatory capture: If you can jump, you must jump — you can't make a regular move instead.
Kings
1
When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a Kingand gets crowned (shown with a crown symbol).
2
Kings can move and jump diagonally in any direction — forward or backward. Regular pieces can only move forward.
Winning
You win by either:
1
Capturing all of your opponent's pieces.
2
Blocking your opponent so they have no legal moves on their turn.
The game is a draw if 40 moves go by for each player with no capture and no regular piece moving.
Strategy Tips
💡
Control the center of the board — pieces in the middle have more options. Try to get Kings early since they're much more powerful than regular pieces. Keep your back row occupied as long as possible to prevent your opponent from kinging.
